- You must make a reservation. We recommend

Will other hunters interfere with the hunt?
No, you will hunt in your own fields.
How successful should I hope to be?
We have a 90% harvest average.
Will these birds fly?
Yes, the birds flush and fly, just as they do in their
natural habitat.
How many birds am I allowed to take?
State bag limits do not apply here,
so you have the opportunity to take each pheasant you
see.
Do I need a license?
Yes, a license is absolutely required.
There are three acceptable types of licenses: an Illinois
hunting license, a non-resident hunting license, and
a special hunting preserve license.
To obtain a resident or non-resident
license, call Bass Pro Shop at 1-847-856-1229. Licenses
are also available online, using a secure form, at https://www.link2gov.com/il/dnr/.
We offer non-resident Illinois hunting preserve licenses
for $7.00.
